Ahead of the Eid al-Adha holiday, the Interior Ministry issued circulars containing plans to prevent traffic accidents.
As a result, 226,000 people will work on the roads between July 14 and July 26.
According to the circular; Inspections will increase for 13 days. Traffic checks will also be carried out with aircraft such as drones and helicopters.
On the routes and at accident concentration points, 45 chief controllers will review the vacation measures taken by the team and staff. The radar vehicles will be in service 24 hours a day.
There is also an important article in the circular concerning the speed limit in town. As a result, studies will be carried out to reduce the maximum speed limit to 30 in places where pedestrians are concentrated such as “schools, hospitals, shopping centers” and in the streets, streets and lanes around these places.
