LAST MINUTE: Ayşegül Pehlivanlar wins silver at Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games

Ayşegül Pehlivanlar and Aysel Özgan participated in the final held in the Asaka shooting range.

Ayşegül reached the silver medal with a total of 234.5 points in the final. The 41-year-old national athlete, who won bronze in Rio in 2016, won the second Paralympic medal of his career in Tokyo as silver.

Another Turkish athlete taking part in the final, Aysel Özgan, 43, came in 8th place.

Iranian athlete Sareh Javanmardi, who broke world and Paralympic records with 239.2 points, won the gold medal. Krisztina David from Hungary won the bronze medal with a score of 210.5.
