According to information made on the website of the Presidency of Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD), the Aegean earthquake occurred at 5:43 p.m. and at a depth of 7.06 kilometers.
The distance between the epicenter of the earthquake and Karaburun was measured at 40.90 kilometers.
