A magnitude 4.2 earthquake has occurred in the city of Khoy in western Iran.

According to information from the website of the Presidency of Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD), an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 was recorded at 01:43, whose epicenter was the town of Hoy.

While it was determined that the earthquake was at a depth of 5.24 kilometers, its epicenter was determined to be about 35 kilometers from the Özalp district of Van.
