Around 100 civilians were killed in an armed attack on a village in Burkina Faso, a West African country.
Armed assailants attacked the village of Solhan in northern Burkina Faso at night, setting fire to houses and markets in the village.
It has been reported that nearly 100 civilians lost their lives in the incident. The government called the attackers “terrorists”.
