Metin Yener, Director General of Presidential Personnel and Principles, was elected President of the Turkish Court of Auditors at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
In the election held by secret ballot to the General Assembly, Metin Yener, director general of personnel and principles of the presidency, and Mehmet Aksoy, member of the 6th chamber of the Court of Auditors, competed.
Yener was elected president of the Court of Auditors with 255 votes, while Aksoy received 4 votes. Although there was 1 blank vote in the election, 10 votes were deemed invalid.
WHO IS METİN YENER?
Metin Yener was born in Ankara in 1972. Graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics, Yener obtained her Masters in Economic Policy from Gazi University and Public Administration from Gazi University. Indiana University.
Working at different levels of government, Yener was appointed Deputy Director General of Laws and Rulings in the Prime Ministry in 2012, and the General Directorate of Personnel and Principles in the Prime Ministry in 2014.
Yener, who has held the General Directorate of Personnel and Principles of the Presidency since 2018, is married and has two children.
