New verdict for FETÖ leader Gülen and 11 defendants in Dink trial

In the case of the murder of journalist Hrant Dink, if the 12 defendants, including FETÖ leader Fetullah Gülen, former prosecutor Zekeriya Öz and journalists, whose files have been separated, do not return to the country in the 15 days, they are considered to have been smuggled and their assets have been seized.

The Hrant Dink murder case was decided on March 26. The defendants, including former police chiefs, were sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment. The files of 13 fugitive defendants were also separated.

Istanbul’s 14th High Criminal Court, which dealt with the case, ruled on the prosecutor’s request 2 weeks ago.

15 DAYS FOR 12 DEFENDANTS

The court granted 12 defendants 15 days, including Fetullah Gülen, former prosecutor Zekeriya Öz and journalists Adem Yavuz Arslan, Ekrem Dumanlı and Faruk Mercan, who fled abroad.

IF THEY DON’T COME, THEIR GOODS WILL BE SEEN

If the defendants did not appear in court within 15 days, it was decided that they would be considered fugitives and their property would be confiscated.
