President Erdogan: Turkey has reached critical threshold for world exports

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the Ordinary General Assembly of the Assembly of Turkish Exporters.

The titles of Erdogan’s statements are as follows:

“Now Turkey has reached the critical point of reaching a 1% share in world exports. Our success in exports has become our national motivation. We aim to increase the number of our exporters to 100,000 and then to 300. 000. As our business people produce, we are heading to a place where we can look to the future with confidence.

This year we have achieved the highest export figures in the history of the republic on a monthly, 6 month and 12 month basis. Our 12-month exports surpassed the $ 200 billion mark for the first time, breaking a record of $ 211 billion as of September 17. An open source of finance will be created with the Export Development Fund. The collateral problem for exporters will be eliminated. Hopefully we will bring the fair center, which will also be managed by the Assembly of Turkish Exporters, to our country as soon as possible. In addition to the other supports that we provide with the export development fund that we will set up, we are creating a source of funding that is only accessible to you. As I will express at the United Nations General Assembly in America on Tuesday, we are determined to do all in our power to take our rightful place in the new world system.
