State officials visit to Antkabir (99th anniversary of the Great Victory)

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, chaired by state officials, visited Anıtkabir on August 30, Victory Day and Turkish Armed Forces Day.

As part of the celebrations for the 99th anniversary of the Great Victory, the first ceremony was held in Anıtkabir. The ceremony began with the march of state officials on Aslanlı Yolu.

In the procession chaired by President Erdoğan, President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop, Vice-President Fuat Oktay, CHP President Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, members of the presidential cabinet, MHP President Devlet Bahçeli, President of the IYI Meral Akşener party, heads of high magistracy bodies, commanders, representatives of political parties, bureaucrats and other government officials.

Erdogan laid a wreath with a star and crescent motif at Ataturk’s Mausoleum. After the moment of silence, the national anthem was sung.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan wrote the following in the notebook:

“Dear Atatürk, we are in your presence again on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the great victory, one of the golden rings on the road to our independence. On this historic day, we mercifully commemorate your deceased and our beloved martyrs. We are leading Turkey to a bright future in accordance with the goals you have set for us. “We are increasing the deterrence of the Turkish armed forces, who are having a baby, in all areas. With the reforms we have implemented in matters of democracy, justice, rights and freedoms, we strengthen the bond between the republic and our republic. The Republic of Turkey, which is your trust, is in good hands. May your soul rest in peace . “

ANITKABIR IS OPEN TO VISIT

Anıtkabir was opened to the public after the official ceremony.
