Two children, a decade of war in Syria

It has been ten years since the mass protests in Syria turned into a violent conflict that tore the country apart, leaving a trail of death, destruction and displacement.

BBC correspondent Caroline Hawley followed the lives of two children and their families, forced to flee to neighboring Jordan and who came to symbolize for her the suffering inflicted by the conflict.

Filmed and edited by David Mcilveen.
