AFAD’s last minute earthquake the description has arrived.
According to data from the Derem Department of the Presidency of Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD), an earthquake of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale occurred at 7:40 a.m. in the Aegean Sea, off Datça.
A second earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 occurred at 8:09 a.m., 29 minutes after the earthquake, which is 21 kilometers from Datça and at a depth of 11.84 kilometers.
The earthquakes that caused short-term panic were felt in Datça and its rural areas Yakaköy, Cumalı, Yazıköy, Sındı and Mesudiye. It was reported that there had been no loss of life or property in the earthquakes, according to early determinations.
